TOP 10 BASIC KNOWLEDGE | EVERY INDIAN SHOULD KNOW WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO VOTE

Basic-knowledge

If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain.

Disclaimer- The article source is based on resources available on the internet, if you find anything inappropriate, please contact me.

You may find this off the track topic but in the present situation where Bihar assembly elections are at the peak, I found that people lack socio-polity knowledge.

Even the literate population has below-average political knowledge which is not a good sign of being in a democratic country. Not only if one is preparing for civil services or government exams should have socio-polity awareness but one should have basic knowledge of society.

Imagine you are traveling abroad and someone asked you who is the chairman of The Parliament? come on if you are eligible to vote you should know the structure of your country.

It’s ironic but, indeed, people do not have an idea of who they are going to vote for? or what is the purpose of the vote? We are living in a Republic country where the public is supreme, and having correct socio-polity knowledge elects skillful government.

voter

Source: thebetterindia.com

India is a democratic country and as democracy says for the people, by the people, and of the people so voters need to make a smart choice while choosing a government.

People highly neglect the power of voting with this common mentality that my one vote is not going to make a difference but a vote is a tool that can bring a revolution.

These simple things need to care for while voting

  • Having your own authentic voter ID card registered in the voter list in your constituency.
  • Have basic knowledge about the ruling party development, agility, and scalability.
  • Look for what is the most important issue which your locality is facing like education, employment, infrastructure, health care, etc, and which party manifesto covers the most with of it with a visionary plan.
  • See the track record of all the parties’ work schedule and measure them with your own perception, don’t go for other words.Ignore the noise and try to figure out the ground reality of your location.
  • Know the important administration of your localities like MLA, DC, BDO, and SSP, and if possible follow them in the news or social media.

10 THINGS ABOUT SUCCESS | I WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN BEFORE CHASING IT

you are successful in life if you know how to walk with joy through hell

Don’t become a slave of somebody’s idea, have your own, that’s success

What is meaning of Success?

To answer this question imagine you are alumni standing in front of your juniors, and you need to answer the success story of yours.

Take your time and ask an honest question to yourself what you will say, no sugarcoating. Is it numbers in your bank account? , Is it fame? , Is it how big a vehicle or property you own?……

Confusing Isn’t it, but no rush this article will cover all the things and myths of success, just stick to it and find out your definition of success.

1. Is Success all about money?

Well money is something which cannot be ignored hospital bills, owning a car, paying your rent, daily domestic essentials, groceries, education, lifestyle everything money take care.

But wait, ask the below questions to yourself and have an honest opinion to track your success roadmap:

  1. Is money the only thing that gives me organic happiness?
  2. Is money the only thing that I work hard for?
  3. Was money the only thing in my childhood dreams?
  4. Can money justify my emotions?
  5. Can money buy my kindness and honesty?

Please ask these questions when you are with yourself or you fail miserably as honesty comes when you fail without any sugarcoating to your emotions.

Ultimately Money is materialistic and temporary happiness served to human beings. For example, when in childhood as a lad one can buy the whole world with just 10 bucks, in college dimensions increases, and as adult age and earning man limitations keeps on increasing and there is no full stop for this illusion.

Money is numbers and numbers never end. If it takes money to be happy, your search for happiness will never end    – Bob Marley

2. Is Success all about fame?

It’s very tough to see that nowadays we have created such a superficial world where everyone is in the race of getting famous and known in their territory.

Unfortunately, this trend is indirectly inherited from our schooldays where a lad with good grades, god background, and class leader will have maximum followers and thus will have more friends.

The irony is we don’t want friends we want followers. The pressure of getting into this trap of fame we inherit jealousy, anger, pain, conflicts, and confrontation which disturb the internal harmony and there is no peace.

Once try to be hidden from the dimension of the illusionary world and be in the background appreciating others, listening to the voice, helping others, you will find your way to success.

3. True traces of Success lies in the satisfaction

At the end of the day when you go to bed are you satisfied with your day? Are you doing what you wanted? Every morning are you excited? or your dreams are buried under your responsibilities?

If not why you are doing it? It’s not about energy ultimately it’s about crucial time which you are wasting. The worst possible experience is going directionless slowly which creates a void of incompetence ultimately which makes you part of the average crowd.

Hey! hold on a sec I am not asking you to quit your job and ignore your responsibilities but you can at least engage your self in doing what you love every day after your shift and in the weekends. It will not make you rich and famous but you will be satisfied with your efforts. If you master at it after a while you can switch towards it permanently.

Satisfaction is a key to success, if you are satisfied with what you are doing then it’s a success. Need should never be converted to greed. Be happy be in peace. You can find a billionaire not able to sleep the entire night with the best facilities but you can see a poor man sleeping happily under a lampost having bread. It’s just a difference in satisfaction.

Success is a parameter judged by others, satisfaction is a treat given to our soul.

4. Stop comparison: Success is different to different people

Human beings are obsessed with a constant state of comparison and slowly and gradually people are trapped in this unnoticed sweet poison which lands them at the wrong junction filled with anxiety, stress, and internal conflict.

Especially in our Indian society, people’s success is justified with their property, power, and background. Why every student has to be good at mathematics? Why every man has to earn more than the person next door? Why he/she should be married at a fixed age? Why one has to buy the latest smartphone if there are other cheaper options?

Comparison drain out one’s self-esteem, self-confidence person becomes over conscious and overthinking and slowly accept that he/she is worthless if doesn’t manage to match the shoulder parallel to the standard benchmark in society.

The person working in the fields for him the success is to grow the seasonal crop and harvest it but the person flying the airplane his success is to make the passenger’s journey safe.

They both are successful in their zone of serving the people with their service. How much they earn or how famous are they don’t matter. They are happy doing it and they are successful.

Don’t be a slave of somebody’s idea, have your own idea.

5. Break the rule: There is no age for success

This is a crucial point which needs everyone attention, I have heard many people complaining that after 30 one cannot opt for a government job, after having the first baby cannot keep themself fit, cannot do their hobbies or passion parallel to their job blah…blah…blah! everything’s shit.

Most of the successful people find their masterstroke idea at half of their age.Human beings have the strongest potential to achieve anything whatever they want only true determination is required, you find me joking below is the answer:

  1. Anne Frank: A 12-year girl who started writing her diary during world war II on persecution and the holocaust during Nazi occupation after her demise at 15 later her diary was translated in more than 60 languages into the famous book The Diary of a Young Girl .
  2. Leonardo da Vinci: Whose masterpiece Mona Lisa was published when he was in the 50s.
  3. Nelson Mandela: Who became president of South Africa at 75 after a long struggle.
  4. Colonel Sanders: He started his franchise KFC at the age of 61.

The list is endless but so are everyone’s excuses. The fact is there is only one life. Be mentally strong, keep count on your progress, and be the change you want. If you cannot join the job which you wanted due to age limitation well create that job by yourself who stopped you.

6. Have a plan: Success is giving direction to your life

More than 80% of people don’t know exactly where they want to sail the ship. It’s so strange that the captain of the ship is clueless.

In our Indian society, it’s very common practice to opt for science if the majority is going towards it, it’s common to opt for engineering if everyone is doing and till then people get this tendency to stay with a safe job and just do what the crowd is doing.

Success is all about having a planned roadmap that guides you every day, if you get up from the bed you should know what you have in your bucket list.

Break your goals in smaller chunks by breaking the bread technique, for each chunk have proper planning, and accomplish it in a given time. Track your growth and have control of your life in your hand.

Learn from your mistakes and implement them in further chunks. Make your navigation towards destiny more beautiful and success is all yours.

7. Success is following your passion: Enjoy the process

Nothing is amazing than having a dream and following madly towards it. First, know your passion, passion is not what you do after seeing someone but it should come from inside your mind and guts.

If you are not sure about your passion take your time, try different things, come out of your comfort zone and once you get it just stick to it. You should be kind enough to give extra hours to your dream after your day shift, cut down social life if necessary. Everything secondary can wait but not time, the clock is ticking round o’clock.

The SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has a crazy work schedule on an average 80-90 hours a week, if necessary he gives 120 hours a week, someday sleep in his office, and proudly follows his passion for transforming the world as a savior. For me, he is the man of the century.

While working in your dream one pushes his boundaries, dare to take challenges, and at the end win or lose it’s doesn’t matter the dopamine of the process is enough to justify success.

The worst thing which can happen to anyone is to let their dreams die inside.

8. Spending time with you and your family is success

Having a balanced personal and professional life, a good relationship with peers and family members, spending some time for a hobby, or with a pet makes our journey filled with happiness and joy.

Family is the strongest backbone a person can have in life which will stand for you when the whole world is against you. Family is the ultimate motivation for which a person step out and fight for existence.

It doesn’t matter how much money you make, how much hard work you do to earn, but if you fail to make your self at the dining table end of the day with your family you are just here to do business.

Every day try to spend some time with your parents, wife, or children if get a chance to take them out. Get your aging parent’s daily health checkup, be with them when they need you. Just don’t let that extra income thing keeps you away from them.

9. Learning, exploring, and adding values to other life is Success

The hunger to learn and implement is the drive behind every successful man. Success is not something that can be achieved overnight or in a single year it takes blood and sweat.

The best part of success is to share it with the world. Whatever knowledge, wisdom, resources you have, if you invest them in transforming and adding values to other life, is a true success that gives immense pleasure. It’s not a duty it’s a responsibility.

Why TATA Group is so successful? Is it their turn over? Is it their stock market shares? Nope it’s the value they are adding to their country and it’s people.

Just go the extra mile, if you are an engineer or health care, volunteer yourself, and step out to solve the problems in your locality. If you are on vacation can start free coaching and educate the needful.

10. Keep fighting: Breathing life till the last moment is success

I would like to take this point on a serious note. India is one of the top countries in suicide. As per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in India every day 381 cases an average of 1,39,123 fatalities annually is reported.

Suicide rates are higher in the age group of 15-29 and the middle age group. Problems like family issues, marriage issues, relationship failure issues, and overburden on students are on top.

Society must come forward to accept such delicate issues with an open mind and accept that everyone has their own way of living life. Please be kind and respectful to everyone because life is only once. Live for your family, live for your dreams, live for the needy, keep fighting!

Slowly and gradually interstate traveling has resumed and there is a lot of noise and confusion about traveling essentials by air. This article covers broadly, highlighting useful tips that make your journey safe and happy.

This article covers air travel mode with guidelines and precautionary steps as per domestic flights in India.

Domestic flights resumed with strict guidelines.

Please don’t travel until it’s very urgent and necessary, in India, there is record 62,000+ COVID cases each day and one security is in your own hand.

1. Documents Required

Gear up to add series of docs in your folder.

The most crucial part is the list of documents while traveling in a pandemic that needs to adhere as per the guidelines and policies into effect with respect to airline and state.

Keep a separate manual folder with all hard copies of documents into it. Airlines are asking to bring hard copies now in this pandemic to make the process more smooth but in emergency soft copies are also acceptable.

Below is the checklist:

  • e-Pass – This is the most crucial document while traveling in pandemic as per each state guidelines. Before leaving please check your destination state official e-pass website and get yourself registered and collect the printout of movement registration slip. While registering details like flight no, source address, destination address, mode of travel, name, date of travel, reason for travel and your health status will be asked. Providing e-pass on source and destination is mandatory. Note – e-pass and boarding pass are different.
  • Boarding pass – Web check-in boarding pass is compulsory and will be checked strictly at entry. Boarding pass is generated by the official airline website by enrolling your PNR and personal details then need to select a preferred seat and finally, the boarding pass will be sent to your email or can be downloaded on the official site. It consists of details like PNR no, DOJ, seat no, flight no, source and destination, boarding and departure time and gate no will be provided by staff on airport.
  • Self-health declaration form- Passenger needs to declare health statistics like is not residing in any containment zone, is not suffering from any fever, cough, or any respiratory distress. Form will be sent to mail as per the flexibility of airline guidelines as per traveling in pandemic. Note -Please carry the printout on the day of travel.
  • Home printed bag tag – While traveling in pandemic make sure to carry printed bag tag with PNR and passenger details. This can be sent by airline or need to print manually.

  • Flight ticket – Flight is mandatory with all the relevant flight details and passenger’s details. Please read the mentioned compulsory guidelines for domestic travel with effect from 25th May 2020 to ensure safety.
  • Valid personal ID proof – Passengers need to carry valid ID proof like voter card, PAN, Adhar card, DL, passport to justify their identity.
In today’s world your data is your identity.

2. Aarogya Setu App

CC: Wikimedia Commons , Updating health status on app is mandatory.
  • All travelers above 14 years of age must have the Aarogya Setu App activated on their mobile before arriving at the airport.
  • Update your health status on Aarogya Setu App while traveling in a pandemic.
  • Initially, the temperature is tracked and then the passenger needs to show Aarogya Setu App at entry point.
  • Passengers must be physically well for traveling.

3. Make masks your best friend

Masks prevents from direct contact of infected droplets.

Traveling in a pandemic mask is the most important essential which is a lifesaver. in the US a recent model suggested that if everyone wears masks 33,000 lives can be saved so masks need to be added in our lifestyle if it can save our life so simple is that!

Have a decent stock of masks in your handbag as now it’s easily available in the market and dispose of the infected mask and replace it with a new one.

4. Sanitization

Daily alcohol based hand sanitization kills spread of infection
  • Sanitizing hand with alcohol-based hand sanitizers is best practice to kill the germs on our hand which can be spread by direct contact with our mouth and nose.
  • Make sure hand sanitizer has a good amount of alcohol content.
  • Sanitize your hands properly on your palm, between fingers, and opposite your hand.
  • If possible get sanitizer spray which can come handy in sanitizing luggage or bench or seat.

5. Social-distancing

Maintain social distance in public to prevent spread of COVID-19.
  • While traveling recently when COVID-19 outbreak is at the peak, believe me, people are not serious about safety as per my own experience, still, there are careless selfies and photo clicking sessions in face shield, PPE kit like a fancy dress competition.
  • We must salute people out there at the airport for our safety on the frontline but we disappoint them by not adhering to the social distancing while boarding and vacating the flight.
  • Maintain 6 feet or two arms distance while traveling in a pandemic.
  • Don’t rush yourself to avoid such issues reach the airport 2 hours before.

6. Hand Gloves: A safety or false buzz

Wearing hand gloves is a good practice if you know how to handle it.
  • Wearing hand gloves is mostly recommended for those who are on the frontline and know how to handle it.
  • Incomplete knowledge of handling it like how to dispose and when to use can lead to risk.
  • Instead sanitizing hand with alcohol-based sanitizers on regular intervals is best practice.
  • Selling of hand gloves and creating buzz is a marketing strategy to sell the product at cost of fear.
  • Wearing gloves is a personal call but before that justify yourself are you responsible to handle it correctly?

6. The Buzz about protective kit offered from airline

  • Airline services provide a pack of face-shield, one disposable face mask, and a mini sash pouch of sanitizers to all passengers.
  • But carrying own hand sanitizers is recommended.
  • PPE kit is provided to passengers on the middle seat.

7. Procedure at Destination on arrival

Due to ongoing pandemic there is protocol before exit.
  • After passengers collect luggage from the conveyer belt are asked to make a queue with e-pass ready.
  • E-pass is verified.
  • Before exit passengers temperature is tracked if healthy stamped with HQ – Home Quarantine.
  • Passenger needs to update the current status on the Aarogya Setu app.

8. Important measures to be taken for your own safety

Slide 1
Up to 14 days of strict home quarantine

Passenger neeed to avoid physical contact from family members and friends for at least 14 days by isolating themselfes.

Slide 2
Mask is best way to fight the battle

Adding wearing mask as common activity even at home and maintaining social distance of at least 6feet helps prevention of spread of corona as infection is spread due to water droplet from coughing and sneezing.

Slide 3
Washing hands with soap at regular interval.

At home frequent washing of hands with soap or handwash is best practice to keep our hand free from germs which are possible carrier for infection while touching face and nose.

Top 10 Tricks | How to Improve Mental Health

Article covers 10 trick to improve mental health with simple trick

Taboo needs to be discussed, understood, and solved.

“Your mind is everything, you become what you think”

What is Mental Health?

Mental health is a state of mind where an individual takes subconscious or conscious decision driven from inner feelings and emotions. If the action is akin or normal the person is stable, if the action is obnoxious is unstable and needs help.

The graph of Mental Health awareness in India reflects is very low on an avg. is below 50% for last 12 months.

In this fast-growing technological world, everything is progressive and competitive and Mental Health cannot be ignored. Everyone is busy, running, and it’s hard to find our inner peace.

School teaches us subjects, college persuades us towards carrier objectives and job gives us the opportunity to practice our skills and then family, responsibilities, house, EMI’s and then we are into the rat race which is cyclic and there is no end.

It’s hard to find time for one-self and into this 2- minute- Maggi world we lack patience and peace. Our mind is an organic machine that needs proper nutrients to keep us mentally healthy and help in taking vital decisions.

This article will be covering 10 tricks on how we can enhance our lifestyle by improving our conscious effort towards Mental Health. So let begin.

1. Be Social but be Independent

The world is full of networking and it’s very important to keep our-self social. In our workplace, family, or any gathering we should be presentable and know how to start a conversation and respond appropriately.

When we interact, we should be confident enough to drive the conversation and we can only be confident when we are independent. One should be financially, emotionally, and socially independent to take own decisions.

Imagine if one is dependent on small basic necessities it will always make us feel less important, outnumbered, and worthless that person can never participate in eye to eye open conversation and will be neglected from the crowd the world is like this! it’s a hard reality and we need to digest.

It covers to all age group if you are in school you should be good enough to pass your exams on your own knowledge, if you are in college you should be clear about your subject, skill, and passion which will shape future if you are in a job you should be confident enough to keep your opinion on table practically and know how to manage your money.

These things just help us keeping ourselves prepared for upcoming challenges and will act as therapy to Mental health.

2.Routine and Discipline Lifestyle

Oops! this one hurt because it’s old school and boring but needs to adjust to this. I don’t know why discipline is always admired in a tough and rigid form even knowing the fact ultimately it’s pure gold.

Having a routine and disciplined life helps to keep us ahead and alarmed. Imagine a person who is habituated to strict time-table, if something doesn’t go as planned he or she will not be wasting time on setbacks but will move to follow the next activity as per his/her daily routine which will not be a burden.

Having a routine and discipline life doesn’t mean to follow a hardcore military training schedule. One should properly categorize and divide 24 hours appropriately like morning rituals, exercise, proper mealtime, news time, working hours, break hours, family time, bedtime doing basics like laundering, cleaning, pressing clothes, polishing your shoes, arranging your school/college/office essentials.

I know it’s very difficult to control ourselves and it takes time to implement but it’s worthy. There is nothing great than winning on ourselves if you are looking at how to build massive self-discipline please check out the below video.

3.Balancing the Personal and Professional life

The mental health of a person is polarised by this factor in a broadway. With the pace of time, a person shifts from being a single, independent, bachelor to responsible. It can be a father, son, mother, or daughter and this transition can be very chaotic because now the person has pressure to play well on both the pitch of the workplace and family courtyard.

Keeping personal and professional life separate is very important as diluting the issues of both may land one in very miserable conditions where a person can feel helpless and lose his self-esteem. Isolating them is hair painting tedious task but once mastered it’s the best cool breeze and an ultimate therapy.

Below are the steps to make it simple:

  • Be punctual and be active
  • Focus is the key – whether it’s an office or family gathering
  • Share your emotions
  • Be humble and be generous
  • Everyday making your self to the dining table at the end of the day with your loved ones
  • Plan for the day once mastered plan for the week and further months and year
  • Let everyone participate openly in your conversation
  • Be a good listener
  • Eliminate ego
  • Keeping track of your finances and plan accordingly

4.Tick..Tick..Tick Time Management

Time is money, it’s the most expensive asset which is realized when lost.

“If you are killing time today, time will kill you tomorrow” back in my primary school I heard this quote which I ignored but today I owe this. In the present competitive world, every second counts, and in order to be in the race time management is a must.

I know hearing this orthodox conversation is boring but its part of the game. It’s a common human tendency to postpone each activity, little or abundant for tomorrow and that tomorrow never comes back. Due to this laziness and unplanned calendar we pile up a stack of pending things ultimately which results in stress, anger, depression, and affects our mental health.

4.1-breaking the bread

Breaking the bread is a simple technique in which we need to break our goals into small possible chunks and take the first step.

 steps

  • Write down the necessary steps required to fulfill each small chunks
  • For each day as per convenience set hours to take the step on your small chunk
  • Repeat it no wonder how your day ends up no excuses just remember if you practice any skill continuously for 5 years each day min 3-5 hours you will be master of that craft
  • Take small breaks which enhances your efficiency
  • Clean your work area regularly by yourself
  • Keep moving on next chunks
  • Paste this blueprint near to your bed or place where you spend most of your hours maybe your mobile wallpaper

There is nothing amazing than if your parents are best friends.

The world has drastically changed in the last two decades and it’s the necessity of our society because the technology has advanced, the internet has expanded its boundaries, there is more diversification in terms of food, culture, art, and literature.

Still, in our Indian society, there’s a huge neutral buffer zone between parents and children. For example, if a family is dining together and suddenly if a manforce condom or sanitary pads are endorsed there is an awkward silence and different wave of uncomfortable hovers down.

Today in the world of internet everything is available on tap of fingers and it’s the duty of parents to track what their children are accessing at a sensitive age. Parents should encourage their wards to involve more in practical conversation rather than comparison and report card statistics.

steps
  • Eliminating the concept of comparison because every child is special
  • Stop Judging teenage and adults based on sex, fashion, background, complexion, marks sheet and IQ
  • Open conversation between parent and wards
  • Motivating the young guns to take broader decisions even if they fail
  • Don’t educate them to make money rather educate them to be the change
  • The sex education coming from the words of parents at the correct age
  • Moral and Ethics
  • Don’t prepare your children for examination, prepare them for life

8. Meditation & Sipirtualism

Meditation & Spiritualism is the gateway to feel the supreme power.

Meditation and Spiritualism is the ultimate therapy which gives us the chance to whisper our soul and talk to our self. In this fast-moving world, everything is in rush-hush and people hardly know the meaning of their existence.

Stress, depression, anxiety, anger, fear are part of every age group and meditation & spiritualism help us to deal these with calmness which enhances our mental health.

Meditation: People generally confuse meditation with the orthodox existence of going on a mountain and chanting mantras. It is a vacuum time zone where a person isolate themself willingly from the crowd and focus on their breathing and discard complexity from the system.

Meditation can be in the form of dancing, singing, reading, writing, offering prayers, running, or whatever gives one happiness.

Spiritualism: It is a process where a person irrelevant to religion or culture offers a token of gratitude to supreme power for the human race existence.

9. Own a pet or be kind to animals

Dive into their eyes, one cannot resist adoring them.

Having a pet is not a sign of luxury it’s a sign of kindness and empathy. Pet is the best companion who can charm one with their innocence and loyalty.

If you have a pet it doesn’t matter how your life is going?, they will eagerly wait for you at doorsteps and if you cuddle them, play with them there will volcano of bliss, emotions, tenderness and kindness.

If one cannot afford a pet then be kind to street animals, birds. Feed some biscuits or eatables to the street dog, keep a bowl of milk for the cat, some water and cereals on the terrace for birds and see them, if possible go and pamper them, this helps in boosting mental health as a doorway to happiness.

10. Traveling – Because the road has an answer to everything

Travelling helps in healing

Traveling is an opportunity to explore and learn different languages, cultures, customs, religions, and cuisines which helps human civilization to connect. It creates a great scope of wisdom and acknowledgment.

One needs to plan trips once annually solo or with family which gives the opportunity to spend time with loved ones and refreshes the mind with joy and happiness which stabilizes mental health.

Traveling cannot be afforded by everyone so go around own city, another side of town which is less visited to see the street vendors fighting each day for bread and butter, to slums where the value of water and electricity is inevitable, to the local zoo, museum, bus stand, local station, river, lake and, etc. If something unique found shoot them with a camera or write down in your diary and cherish them later.
